Check Brenntag tank PI tags in order to note and to predict usage of chemicals.

Coordinate with managers from different departments (production, raw materials, etc.) to keep up with and anticipate what is needed for daily production of the product.

Gather chemical receipts, check railcars, search for chemical totes, and any physical evidence shipments have been delivered from around the mill and enter the information into SAP

Keep track of chemical usage throughout the mill and make predictions of future usage

Calculate mill wide chemical, pulp, and starch inventory at the end of the month and record in a spreadsheet to configure consumption

Attend meetings throughout the mill so I can get a better understanding of chemical/pulp usage and maintenance costs.

Prepare chemical consumption spreadsheets to be presented to corporate at the end of the month

Update spreadsheets to inform different departments of the price of chemicals per ton of paper and pulp produced

Analyze various trends of consumption through different time frames (years, months, weeks, etc.)

Pay company’s utility and freight bills. Red flag and notify the leadership team if there is high utility usage and/or high freight/demurrage

Crosstrain in other departments to better understand the link between them

Communicate and exchange important information with a variety of employees throughout the mill
