SUMMARY

Looking for a position where I can help people get through something in their day that should stay simple. Detail oriented. Organized. Reliable. Relaxed demeanor. Closer.

Amazon Associate

Worked in the warehouse, sorted and picked packages. Overnight. June 2020 - June 2023.

Stay At Home Dad

Three school-age kids. Three schools and activities. Talk about needing to be organized! But we’ve shifted schedules to allow part-time work. Aug. 2018 – May 2020.

Proofreader - S & P Global

Transcribed, proofed and edited for accuracy earnings calls from Fortune 500 and other companies, in America and other countries. Remote work. Nov. 2016 – Feb. 2022.

Senior Editor - Vertical Measures

I talked with clients and writers to produce copy for Content Marketing strategies. I was on daily client phone calls to directly learn from them. I also managed freelance writers. Jan. 2016 – Aug. 2016.

Quality Manager - Vertical Measures

I helped shape a new position here, one developed for me with my skills in mind. The job was designed as a bridge between internal and client expectations to reach the highest level of both. This position went away when we hired many people and the company went in a different direction. Feb. 2015 – Dec. 2015.

Project Manager - Vertical Measures

This was my favorite position at Vertical Measures. Position, here, involved helping all the teams – Sales, SEO, Content, Link Builders – narrow in on company goals and keeping everyone on track with client metrics and deadlines. Jan. 2013 – Nov. 2015.

Content Marketing Assistant - Vertical Measures

Worked with vendors and in-house writers to edit a high volume of articles. Used Raven, SEOMoz, Page Rank and various other SERP measuring tools. My role quickly expanded beyond editing to quality control so, I became a Project Manager. Aug. 2012 – Jan. 2013

Graphics Production Supervisor - Sprouts Farmers Market

Led a team of designers who produced the weekly Sprouts circulars that went out to millions of homes in eight states. Streamlined processes and helped obtain the correct software to make the job easier through two major company mergers (Sunflower, then Apollo Management) in less than two years. From 30 stores to 150 by the time I left.

Printer / Web liaison: After I created final PDFs and uploaded final files I worked with Vertis and QuadGraphics, and Grocery Shopping Network (online) to make sure they received all the files they expected. This changed weekly and was often 15 versions or more. I also fixed file compatibility issues, even if the call came at midnight.

Asset management: Set up input and output systems and software (Portfolio) to organize a changing roster of 60,000+ images. Organized others to take photos and clip them. Made sure files conformed to my naming convention so image searches by the buying teams would be successful. Aug. 2008 – Aug. 2012.

Graphics Production - Paradise Valley Independent

I designed new ads for high-profile advertisers, as well as local, smaller companies. I led the production department for my division. Also includes work for North Scottsdale Independent and the Independent chain of papers in Arizona. Aug. 2007 – May 2008.
