Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities: As a Kronos SME at Kellogg performed testing and team lead efforts on Kellogg Kronos 8.1.7 implementation rollouts across various Kellogg plants.

Kellogg- Kronos Implementation Rollouts

Work with UKG implementation team and Kellogg plant users UAT test team to perform testing tasks of Kronos 8.1.7 Modules; Timekeeper, Attendance and schedule implementation rollout to various plants.

Written test cases in Octane Pro, covering Timekeeper/Payrule building blocks, Accruals, Schedule import and Attendance policies for various Kellogg plants having significant configuration differences.

Lead managing test execution working closely with plant users on UAT to train Kronos modules and making sure they run tests created in “MicroFocus Octane Pro” and get the final approval of the implementation from plant HR.

Work with Kellogg third-party software team INDEAVOR, where the schedules are stored and then imported into Kronos Scheduler via Schedule Interface. Run, Analyze and report issues from daily Schedule Import interface. Validate paycodes and schedules for specific shifts are coming in to Central and punches are aligned to them and employee getting paid correctly.

Lead validation effort of Accrual and Attendance policies rules are applied to different plants as expected by Kellogg’s HR and Project Business Lead. Work closely with all cross functional and UKG teams on defects raised during the testing.

Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities: As a Kronos Senior SQE at Amazon-AWS performed testing efforts on Amazon rollouts including Kronos upgrade from V6 to V8.1.6 and also various enhancement initiatives across geographical locations.

Worked on Amazon-Kronos upgrade from V6 to V8.1.7 project and rollout to various geographical locations. Developed and executed test cases testing Timekeeper/Pay Polices, Genies, Hyperfind query, Reports, Historical corrections, Accrual Polices, Exceptions, Alerts and Time off Request for various company population profiles. MyTime Pay Extract: Kronos-8.1.7

Worked on Kronos-PayExtract enhancement project rollout for Amazon international customer (Philippines) to change the layout of the existing pay extract files generated by MyTime (Timekeeper). Enhancement was to eliminate the effort that Payroll spend on the manual historical edits and late adjustments to timecard which leads to pay defects.

I have developed test cases, staged the test data containing historical edits, Leaves, overtime adjustments, life events (termination, hire/re-hire in current pay period). Execute test cases by running the “Pay Extract Interface”, with staged data on Pre-enhancement and Post-enhancement to make sure employee is getting paid as expected.

Attendance points and Infractions

To standardize Amazon’s 40+ attendance policies implemented across 10 business lines emerged out of the COVID-19 crisis, Amazon launched Attendance points and Infractions project.

Infraction is based on when an associate is unable to inform of a missed shift in less than two hours, associate will incur an Infraction. Business Rules cover Attendance policies, Breaks, Absences, multiple/back to back shifts.

Developed test cases, staged test data by importing schedules with Global schedule Import Interface, Import punches by running PunchImport Interface. Validate Infraction points and related Paycodes in Accruals.

Canada-Quebec AWS DC: MyTime Punch To Pay

Canada Quebec AWS Data Centers launch of MyTime Full punch to Pay solution replacing the existing manual processes for time and attendance. Tested Time capture from Punch-Anywhere Device (A to Z), Pay Polices (Pay to Punch in Mytime), Accrual Polices – Grants/Limits (Time Off in Mytime and A to Z) and Manager Delegation.
