• Led and facilitated a team responsible for the AOP for Tulsa Winch, Inc. 2014, 2015, and 2016. Tulsa Winch has successfully maintained AOP with a 4 – 5% of COGS reduction all 3 years.

• Led and facilitated a team responsible for DPO (Days Payable Outstanding) from average 24 days to current average of 76 Days.

• Facilitated and working with Dover Direct Global Sourcing has allowed for the development of better utilization of resources for Tulsa Winch and Dover Direct Global Sourcing. This pilot program has built the foundation for continue development between the OPCO and Dover Corporate which in turns leads to short project timelines between initiation and recognition of savings to the OPCO and Dover. A great example is the current state in Tulsa Winch Group saw a decline due to market conditions, by employing process we was able to identify $1.2M in additional projects that enable us to slow the decline of the original AOP for 2015.

• Tulsa Winch Group piloted the instituting of a 3PL program. Working in conjunction with Dover Directs, Tulsa Winch Group is enjoying the savings associated with inventory reductions, without sacrificing lead times, additionally this program supports the growth of BVC sourcing by providing a manageable inventory program. This type of collaboration and teamwork has shown a great example of what can be obtained when an OPCO and Dover Corporate will work together.

Tulsa Winch, Inc. Senior Commodity Manager 2010 – 2014

• As Senior Commodity Manager, and Director of Supply Chain / Purchasing at Tulsa Winch Group, I have led the expansion of BVC suppliers. For example, Tulsa Winch started with 4% of sourcing conducted by BVC. Today, Tulsa Winch Group will complete 2015 with 30 - 40% of items supplied by BVC suppliers. These partners are located in China and India. We are currently developing sourcing activities to include Mexico and South America.

• Led and participated in Continuous Improvement events design to increase standard cost accuracy, design to production of new engineered concepts, and New Product cost estimation process.

AGC Manufacturing LLC Purchasing Manager 2009 – 2010

• Scheduling - Conducted all scheduling activities for AGC contracting for purchased materials and contract goods.

• Procurement - Negotiated bundle pricing agreement for raw material purchases. Using techniques developed at John Zink I was able to secure JIT deliveries of raw materials thereby reducing on hand balances. Creating and entering in competitive RFQ bids from qualified suppliers for the opportunities on multiple units; to lock in prices due to rising steel, paint, and transportation expenses utilizing cost matrix considering the following elements: target margins, vendor shop load, vendor financial stability, and vendor performance including on-time delivery.

• Inventory Management – Controlled Inventory added inventory controls not currently used for the control and verification of materials need to separate inventory by grade of materials. Also instituted Inventory program to track actual receipts and issues of materials. John Zink Company, LLC Domestic / International Subcontract Administrator 2006 – 2009

• Supplier Relations – Accountable for Domestic / International Subcontract agreements for John Zink. Protected company interests with minimal risk by evaluating qualified subcontractors through site assessment visits at supplier facilities. Made recommendations for further development when needed.

• Procurement - Negotiated bundle pricing agreement for fabricated units. Solicited competitive bids from qualified suppliers for the opportunities on multiple units; to lock in prices due to rising steel, paint, and transportation expenses. Set a desired target margin of 30% per unit below budget prices allocated for equipment. Provided detail documentation in regard to drawings and contract documents. Analyzed each bid utilizing cost matrix considering the following elements: target margins, vendor shop load, vendor financial stability, and vendor performance including on-time delivery. Generated an initial savings of $427,000.00 from order placement. A further result steel prices rose in first quarter 2008 by 40%, because prices were locked in savings generated increased and 20% over the life of the units for domestically fabricated units.

Oversaw the fabrication and selection of International suppliers to build equipment for 40 Million dollar project with Shell Oil Company in Qatar. Selected and appraised International Suppliers for fabrication purposes. Analyzed options provided by suppliers using a cost matrix. Evaluated each vendor’s capabilities as it related to the requirements for the equipment. Selected 3 different suppliers from China each charged with a specific portion of job to complete. Savings generated a 30% savings for each portion of the sales contract for fabricated equipment versus having equipment produced domestically. Generation of additional 20% savings by monitoring and controlling transportation costs from fabricator to end user.

John Zink Company LLC / Senior Production Services Manager 2001 - 2006

• Product / Project Management – Accountable for the Management and Development of John Zink Gordon-Piatt brand products. Leadership deliverables included integration and documentation of Gordon-Piatt business processes and John Zink.

• Managing Staff – Managed a team of 60 employees assigned to measure shop through-put and on-time performance initiatives. Successfully increased orders for units from 2 million per month to 5 million per month. On-time performance went from 60% to 95% consistently by applying the 10 Principles of Action methodologies and Lean production disciplines in Winfield, KS plant facility.
