2005-2009- ARTHUR DAVISON CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

I worked as an enrolled nurse at Arthur Davison Children’s Hospital. This was my first posting.

I worked at this Hospital for 5 years and I had a wonderful experience

I worked in isolation ward, Neonatal ward, medical ward, malnutrition ward, surgical ward & breast feeding ward and outpatient was my last allocation.

2009-2010- KITWE TEACHING HOSPITAL

At Kitwe Teaching Hospital, I still worked as an enrolled nurse, but the management found it fit for me to work in ICU and theatre. In ICU I worked as a critical care nurse and in theatre, I worked as a scrub nurse.

I only worked in all other department only when I went for conversion in 2014-2016, because I did Nursing Practical’s at Kitwe Teaching Hospital and Ndola Teaching Hospital.

2011- TO DATE- WUSAKILE MINE HOSPITAL

Wusakile Mine Hospital is a high level, secondary hospital, which is ISO Certified and also affiliated with USAID.

I have worked almost in all the departments; Children’s Ward, Female General Ward, Male Medical Ward, Male Surgical Ward, Isolation Ward and Outpatient.

I have been at this hospital for Eleven (11) years and am currently in Male Surgical Ward.

I have enjoyed working as a nurse, I have not regretted being a nurse at all
