Towards the end of my time at Rural King, I was promoted to the Apparel Manager. My responsibilities were to organize the clothes in certain patterns, displaying specific items, according to floor plans discussed between me and my supervisor. The pay I was receiving was significantly lower than other opportunities in my area. I was soon to be acquiring the responsibility of a house, which motivated me to seek higher pay.

My current position at BI consists of monitoring clients that are on house arrest and participants on ISAP/ERO. I call clients / participants on infractions, and speak with them regarding further instruction and guidelines. I also provide technical support to Law Enforcement whenever they have questions or issues regarding our equipment. I have learned a great deal about Radio Frequency, Global Positioning Systems, Bluetooth, and communication skills. I have dealt with a range of situations from troubleshooting minor connectivity issues, to providing report analytics for murder investigations. Conflict resolution and professionalism are critical when communicating in high stress situations.
