My skills include: line plot cruising, rectangular cruising, fixed radius cruising These skills have been modified over 25 years experience in buying timber and comparing my cruise to stands I have bought to within 3 to 5 percent accuracy of actual volume of stand in numerous tracts I have managed.( If stands are infrequent in tree type or trees per acre after walking through stand I can improve my accuracy by strip cruising or 100 percent count of stand.
