REGISTED NURSE, SHELBY HOSPITAL TO OHIO HEALTH HOSPITAL SHELBY, OHIO I was charge nurse on second shift then went to 12-hour shifts. I worked in ICU at times and kept the Med Surg running smoothly and making sure the patients were cared for. I delegated to the PCAs and LPNs when needed and worked as a team to meet the patient’s needs. I communicated to the Physicians if there was a change in the patient’s condition.

REGISTERED NURSE, FISHER TITUS MEDICAL CENTER, NORWALK OHIO I started off as charge nurse on an ambulatory surgery unit and prep and recovery on second shift. Then worked first shift in prep and recovery, prepped patients and took care of them after surgery. I communicated to the Drs when needed. I then worked in IV therapy for at least 10 years of that experience and floated to prep and recovery then I went to 3 days a week 10 hours a day and was the Pre-Surgery Testing Nurse. I would still help when needed in other areas.

ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN NURSING RN, NORTH CENTRAL TECHNICAL NOW CALLED STATE COLLEGE I learned to start my Registered Nursing Career. I learned about cardiology and psychology and pediatric Nursing. I learned I can communicate well when needed to call the Doctors and who is necessary to communicate to about the patient’s condition. SKILLS • Communication, organization, assertiveness when needed, delegation when needed, Kind, Caring. - 2 ACTIVITIES I enjoy helping people on their journey to healing and getting better whether that is spiritually, mentally, or physically. I have my CPR, and right now I also have my PALS and ACLS.
