I have been in the industry since 1995; as a loan processor promoted to a Senior loan processor, earned JR underwriting rights to clear and underwrite conventional loans. As a supervisor I monitored the day-to-day operations, pipeline reviews. I have also crossed trained as an originator and a loan closer to provide better custom coaching and training opportunities for the processing staff. I spent 8 months training for the TRID conversion for sending initial disclosures to re-disclosures of the LE to problems shooting for the ELLIE Mae website

Mortgage QC Auditor - Bank of England Mortgage October 2016 to Current

QC Auditor for EPD’s and Pre-Funding loans all types including bond loans

Conventional Loan underwriter for purchase and refinance transactions, All LTV and all property types

Risk review of mortgage loan files which includes a review of underwriting analysis including; credit, income appraisal, title, and compliance to reduce risk to the organization.

Validate data on loan application documents with the originations and imaging systems prior to the application moving forward for loan closing.

Validation includes a review of Regulatory related documents, validating the required investor/product documents in order to reduce post funding deficiencies.

Review of all loan files decision from a Branch Underwriter prior to final clear to close.

Performs a complete and thorough review of loan files submitted by underwriting personnel.

The responsible to correct any deficiencies to ensure the successful delivery of the closed loan to the agency or investor post funding.

Essential Functions/Duties: Review file upon receipt from underwriting personnel. File review will include but is not limited to review of all items on the company approved Risk Underwriter Checklist. At Senior Management discretion additional items may be added to the review and checklist, ability to work quickly and efficiently in the time frame set by Senior Management. Customers should not be negatively impacted by the internal audit, risk Underwriter Checklist should be applied uniformly to all selected files. Direct and inter-departmental interaction with Branch Managers, Underwriting and Processing Departments to secure appropriate documentation as required by investors in a timely manner, ability to research agency and investor guidelines for valid information to support prudent business decision, additional duties as assigned by Senior Management.

Mortgage Operations Manager – Bankers Mortgage May 16, 2016 to September 2016

Recruit, manage and train the processors, processor assistants and order out/file setup specialists. Mentor the staff to higher levels of performance and quickly handle disciplinary issues.

Keep loans moving smoothly and efficiently through the pipeline from order out/file setup thorough processing.

Facilitate a smooth file handoff between the retail loan officers/registration specialist and order out/file setup.

Facilitate a smooth file handoff between the processors and underwriting.

Monitor loan status via Encompass reports and dashboards quickly identifying problem loans and bottlenecks.

Communicate loan status and progress with the rest of the APS fulfillment staff.
