Selected Projects
-Programmed a full line adc on IHI tandem line with oyabi sieke automation.
-Designed and installed an automatic air pressure change over for wringer rolls on a blank washer where there was a need for the contact pressure to change from job to job.
-Changing vacuum cup blank handover to magnetic blank handover.
-Changing an electro-mech. System to more efficient air cylinder operation, to eliminate machine damage and down time.
-Changing automation from vacuum cup setup to magnetic setup for part transfer. Part was formed in a way that cups were not very effective in moving in a rapid pick & place (dopping) system.
- Was tasked with the PLC side of programming to report to a standalone computer for data, SPM, down time, ADC or QDC time, Parts produced per job, per shift, & per hour.
- Modified main pressure cylinders on kolmag veneering press to eliminate scoring rods and cylinder walls.
- Have led several stamping plants through catastrophic press failure repairs.
- Have started up 4 stamping plants as well as 11 stamping lines (Tandem, Transfer, Blanking & veneering press line). Servo, Traditional mechanical and hydraulic.
