ACTIVITIES

In 2019, I created the Buckeye Braille Scholarship Fund, a scholarship designed to promote the use of Braille on the college campus. To date nearly two thousand dollars has been given to deserving students.

In 2022, I developed a method for creating tactile graphics using a combination of TactileView software, the Juliet 120 embosser, and Apple’s ProCreate app

I developed Speech-to-Braille, a communication method whereby a student receives realtime lecture material on a Braille display

I take continuing education courses in the areas of Nemeth Code (Braille) and graphic arts
