RECENT CAREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Instrumental in orchestrating a $95,000,000 sale of Quigley Eye Specialists to New Harbor Capital (Private Equity Firm).
Helped acquire, onboard, integrate and remodel over 20 ophthalmology/optometric and ASC practices.
Almost single handedly designed, built and equipped the iLASIK and Medspa in Naples, Florida.
Almost single handedly designed, built and equipped an Office Based Surgery Suite (OBS) in Fairfax, VA.
Recruited, negotiated and wrote Physician Employment or Independent Contractor Agreements for numerous MD’s/OD’s.
Negotiated a $400,000 tenant improvement allowance from the landlords of Quigley Eye Specialists in Fort Myers, FL.
Helped double EBITA.
Brought in over $100,000 annually by billing insurance carriers for medical records.
Renegotiated our AETNA Provider Agreement increasing the allowable from 80% of RBRVS to 110% of 2022 RBRVS with 4% annual escalators while fixing the RBRVS year to 2022. Also carved out Corneal Cross Linking at $4,800.
Implemented an Advanced Dry Eye Program while at Quigley Eye Specialists and ESSNV including Speed Questionnaires, iLux and BlephEx, etc.
Helped introduce and Implement Light Adjustable Lens Technology (RxSight).
Completely wrote and implemented a Personnel Policy and Procedure Manual while at ESSNV.
Developed and interpreted budgets, financial statements, dashboards, benchmarks and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
Reduced Days in Accounts Receivable from 38 to 21.
Reduced the percentage of A/R in excess of 90 days from 22% to 6% without write-offs.
Successfully litigated over 2,000 cases in small claims court.
Helped write Standard Operating Procedures for all departments including Billing & Collections, Surgical Counseling, Front Desk, Call Centers, Payroll, Technical, etc.
Designed and Implemented an Employee Recognition and Perfect Attendance Policy.
Implemented 2 PMS/EHR/POS Systems (Compulink & Nextech).
