Infrastructure & Camp Improvement (ICIP)

• Modernizing the infrastructure network for the development of Deir El Balah Camp,, and raising and drawing plans using GIS systems and CAD to support infrastructure and Camps improvement projects through mapping of camps blocks, housing units and build up areas, unrwa main services, open areas in the camps and demographics.& Construction projects

• Rehabilitation of sewage pumps in Jabalia camp and making plans using GIS systems and CAD

• Rehabilitation of the rain water pump in Jabalia camp (Abu Rashid pool) and making the levels of rain water collected in it using GIS systems and CAD and display in Web Mapping Application

• Developing a plan and making plans to develop the infrastructure of Khan younis camp and Jabalia camp to rehabilitate the camp areas in the Gaza Strip using GIS systems and CAD .

• Rehabilitation of UNRWA Collective Centre with a permanent source of water and electricity in times of crisis

Logistics (Potential flooding zone)

• Potential flooding Areas in Gaza Strip and populations affected by flooding. A winterization package is provided to Palestine refugees as humanitarian assistance to mitigate the effects driven from inclement weather and substandard housing conditions. This Map aims to outline the response strategy and to reflect the lessons learned of 201*-****-**** winterization response.

At GEDCO

• Rehabilitation of the medium voltage electricity network in the Gaza Strip. Follow up on updates to the network using GIS systems and CAD .

• Supervising projects for rehabilitation and installation of medium voltage networks in the Electricity Company

• Raise the infrastructure projects in Jabalia municipality that were previously supported by Municipal Development & Lending Fund (MDLF)

Microbiological and Biochemical tests for drinking water from Agriculturalwells and distribution lines for refugee camps as monitoring tests for bacterial and chemical pollution and follow up were performed at Agricultural areas.
