OBJECTIVE:
I have worked in medical billing for over 35 years. My objective is to utilize what I have learned over the years, and to excel with a company in doing what I love best, which is health information technology. Continuing to learn new things, and new software is also an objective, so I may benefit the company as well as grow in my knowledge.
EMPLOYMENT:
11/2016 - 05/2020: Medcomm Billing/ Advocate Radiology
My responsibilities included: Charge Entry, sorting and batching charges, reviewing charges for mistakes while entering for CAI, Central Ohio Urology Center, as well as other small specialty practices.
09/2014 - 07/16: Different Temporary Agencies
Assignment 1: Wellspun
Responsibilities included: Data entry for returns, covering 3 different websites for online shipping making sure orders were out on time. I would send the orders to the pickers and the pickers would send back confirmation that the orders were shipped. I would then update the websites.
Assignment 2: Fireproof
Responsibilities included: Data entry where I would transfer data from paper files to electronic data files. There were lots of different types of records that I transferred, medical, historical records, and end of year invoices and reports for countless companies.
Assignment 3: Medcomm Billing
I started this assignment in 07/16 with the same responsibilities as above for Medcomm Billing/Advocate Radiology. I was then hired permanently in 11/2016.
10/2006 - 08/2014: Buckeye Allergy & Asthma
My responsibilities included: Front desk, check out desk, balancing the day out, preparing charts for next day, running schedules for each doctor (there were 4) for the following day, and filing. I also covered for charge entry person, as well as reviewing and correcting denied claims, payment posting from electronic remittance, as well as mailed in remittances. When this job ended, they were just going to EHR for clinical only.

10/2019 - Present: University of Arkansas Grantham
I have 2 more classes before I graduate with an Associate Degree in Medical Billing & Coding.
