Here is my resume that is directed at obtaining part time work in the granite industry. However, I am not limited to part time and I am willing to work part time or full time.

I have 10 years experience in the granite business, fabricating with conventional techniques alongside modern techniques, including cutting sinks and edge work strictly with grinders and diamond blades, polishing marbles, granites, and quartzite and modern operating CandC bridge saws. I am fully proficient at commercial and residential installation; mounting sinks, seem work, and custom fitting counter tops on site. I am also fully experienced running all shop equipment from forklifts to bridge saws.

I have been in Kelowna for 5 years, travelling back and forth to Calgary every year for 3-4 months to work, but I would prefer to stay in Kelowna year round. I have excellent references in Calgary, and I am happy to provide these for you if you ask for them.

Skills

I am fully proficient in almost all facets of countertop industry from sales and customer relations, using all marble shop tools and equipment from bridge saw cutting edge machine fabrication and forklift. I have worked in the granite and tile industry in shops and installation settings, also working on many commercial projects including cladding granite walls, tile inlay floors from layout to completion. I worked at bankers hall in Calgary cladding granite walls using mechanical and plaster systems, I’ve made monuments out of granite and my masterpiece of my career is when I produced a 14ft long bar top out of gris pelatino, a rare black marble.

I am currently self employed as a tile setter, mainly doing small jobs periodically.
