● My job originally was to provide services to those affected by Covid-19 such as: bringing them basic everyday necessities if they were under quarantine and could not leave their houses, contacting people to inform them that they have been in contact with someone who has been exposed to the virus, and I also had to provide psychological counseling to those who were struggling with everything going on and were in need of help but had nowhere to turn to. I now serve the community by providing helpful information in regards to the vaccine in order to ease people's worries about it. I also provide resources to the immigrant communities on how to help better themselves as well as those around them if they are struggling with physical and/or mental disorders.

● I worked at the front desk of the building where the gymnasium, cardio, and weightlifting rooms are located. As soon as people walked in, I would take their temperatures as well as their membership or daily payment to use the facility. Because of Covid-19 I would have to clean and sanitize all the equipment and machines every 20 minutes. I would make sure that the building was vacuumed, cleaned, and the snacks we sold at the front were all neatly organized or put away correctly in the storage room so that the person who came in to work after me would have a fresh staring atmosphere. On days when I wasn't working inside the building, I would work at the concessions selling food or work the scoreboard and keep the scorebook at sporting events being put on by the park district. ● I served as a French translator for Terri Gleason, who is a speech-language pathologist. I would call the French speaking families she had to see and would set their appointments with her, as well as accompany Mrs. Gleason to the appointments and translate to the families for her. I was also in charge of typing up translated documents for the families so that they were aware of how their children's progress in therapy was going.

● When I first began working at Koret Center I was in charge of monitoring the weight and cardio rooms. I had to walk around the entire building and make sure that nothing was amiss. I would also occasionally check the exit doors to make sure that they were locked and armed so that nobody can just easily walk in and out. Near the end of my shift I would grab some cleaning towels and disinfectant and wipe down the exercise machines in order to prevent germs.
● I later was promoted to the check-in desk position, which is what I mostly work now, and for this position I sit at the front Check-In desk and scan people’s cards who come in to use the facility. Since I am also right there and the first person people go to when they come in I usually end up having to answer a lot of peoples questions, address their concerns, and help them navigate their way about the building if they are new.
