Summary of Experience:
Responsibilities have included but are not limited to; NQA-1 Vendor surveillance and document review. Verify vendor drawings and procedures meet PO requirements. Act as a Site QC/Welding Engineer manager coordinating a team of inspectors. Write and qualify WPS and PQR per applicable code. Track, trend and troubleshoot welding issues. Review NDE and PWHT personnel qualifications and procedures. Coordinate NDE and PWHT activities, review and document results and reports. Inspect and receive material and consumables per applicable Code and QC manual. Compile documentation for Client records and/or AI review. Test welders, inspect field welds per applicable Code criteria, and prepare weld maps, log welds and document welder continuity. Perform Safety Rep. duties when needed, giving pre-job orientations, drug screens, weekly safety meetings, insure work is being performed in a safe manner.
