Process and Project Engineer with almost 7 years’ experience in delivering large scale projects within the automotive industry from initial conception to completion. This experience includes current model improvements involving quality enhancement, cost down activities and cycle time reduction as well as a large involvement in new process and model introduction.

Currently Working within a ‘Project’ team to utilise in house skills and resource to provide business cost saving. Current role within the team is to source and implement cost saving ideas by utilising in house manufacturing and testing abilities which include a project to save €7 per part by assembling and testing fuel rails in house which equates to a saving of €3.5Million over 5 Years.

Experience is predominantly based around process and planning engineering however currently bridging between both Planning and Facilities roles with responsibility and accountability for facility installations with limited support from other facilities engineers.

Lead Engineer for Unit Assembly New Model Engineering Team for Launch of HR16 E-Tech Hybrid Engine –Bareline and Bare Motor Test Facilities

Lead Engineer for introduction High Pressure (600Bar) Fully Automated Wash Facility introduction (First Facility of its type for Nissan Global)

Lead Engineer for introduction of Inline CT Scanner for Casting and Pre-Machined Cylinder Heads (First facility of its type for Nissan Europe) – GE Speedscan 64

Lead Engineer for Unit Assembly Model Team with the Retool and Installation of Bare Motor Test Facilities for 1.3L and 1L Engines (3 and 4 Cylinder)

Project Engineer for Introduction of 2 new Cylinder Head models and a line capacity increase from 100k to 200k units per year with the introduction of 4 new fully automated facilities

Project Engineer for a further 2 model introduced into the same Cylinder Head machining line (Fully Automated 5 Model Flexible Manufacturing Line)

o£1.2M Project for the introduction of High pressure Cylinder Head Wash Facility

Managing project budgets and cost down activities

New and Current Model Project support with Fanuc Robot Programming

New and Current Model Project support with Omron/Siemens PLC Programming

Production and Execution of Commissioning plans for facility buy off and production handover

Completion of Production and Quality Documentation

Continuous Improvement activities relating to Cycle Time, OEE, Quality and CPU.

New Program Setup and Current Program Modification for X-ray Scans on CT scanner

Production Documentation Setup and Development including Training

Experience of Planning, Project Management, Design, Supplier Liaison

Experience of Installation and Commissioning of new facility within intensive timescales

Fanuc Robot Programming

Omron/Siemens TIA and Step 7 Programming (Developing Skill)

Ability to Multi Task within a demanding and fast pace production environment

Ability to Adapt and learn new Processes Quickly to be utilised in areas with little experience

Strong Track Record in Delivering projects including new concepts and facilities to Nissan Europe and Nissan Global
