Accountabilities:

Welding Inspection

Carrying out the inspection of base metal preparation, welding consumables, pre-heating, in-process

welding, visual weld check, etc., interfacing during fabrication & installation process to resolve any

welding and inspection related problems.

Rendering assistance by giving feedback information of complaint analysis, process capability study and

tolerance study, checking daily weld report, PWHT and other NDT reports.

Inspecting all received welding consumables at site, handling WQT, weld repairs, hardness test, hydro

test &pneumatic test and monitoring other NDT activities.

Fabrication Operations

Studying drawings, plans or patterns of structures to be made as per requirements.

Preparing fabrication drawings for manufacturing various components.

Generating wiring diagrams / schedules and studying the bill of material, coordinating with customers for

various operations like fabrication, machining, etc.

Quality Assurance& Control

Devising & implementing company quality assurance program in compliance with company requirements

overseeing documentation of test results and preparing data in the form of a graph or chart.

Focusing on the optimization of process parameters; initiating process improvements for achieving

Productivity targets.

Conducting quality control activities of the project, including Quality Control inspection schedules and the collection of all Quality Records.

Spool wise inspection after completion of Shop fabrication and release it for further activity after ensuring all the client requirements.

Witness of Material traceability of Pipe spool, pipe supports for Fabrication as per Project

Specification.

Preparation of WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Record).

Evaluates the Non Destructive Test-NDT technicians with regard to the activities assigned.

Conducting alignment & fit-up inspection for welding joints.

Conducting NDT Dye Penetrant Test & radiographic test, visual inspection on welded joints.

Perform material receiving inspection of plates, pipes, fittings, gaskets, flanges, bolts and nuts and ensure proper storage and material preservation is complied with JERES(Jubail Export Refinery Engineering Standards)

Preparation of WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Record).

Conducting Welder Qualification Tests.

Monitor and control the fabrication activities as per the contract specification/ codes and standards /approved drawings and procedures, work instructions, and material identification.
