I performed clerical and technical functions to ensure smooth workflow of the department, such as processing specimens, sending specimens to reference labs, giving results to physicians and/or nurses. I performed venipuncture on patients of all ages for IOP. I am experienced in processing all types of body fluid specimens (blood, urine, CSF, tissue, etc.). I assessed the integrity, appropriateness, and labeling of specimens. I reported problems, or issues to the appropriate personnel. I maintained adequate supplies to support department operations.
