As the Student Program Coordinator, I was responsible for arranging clinical rotations for all the Allied Medicine rotations within the health system. This included placing students from other community colleges as well as the Mount Carmel College of Nursing. Communication with managers on the individual units; to include nurses and pharmacy managers.

● Created and maintained a data base of 1000+ students using Microsoft Excel with a high level of proficiency

● Provided quarterly reports using Excel Pivot Charts to track student types and areas of increase.

• Created evaluation on process to track 360* Evaluation on and Assessment of individual rotations, the staff and students’ outcomes.

● Created and maintained data base for ongoing contracts fon agreements with community schools for all allied medicine. Reviewing and updated ng contract language where needed related to indemnity and State governing requirements.

MEDICAL STUDENT COORDINATOR, THE OHIO STATE COLLEGE OF MEDICINE As a Student Coordinator I was responsible for the administrative needs for the Fourth-Year medical students who were required to complete inter-departmental sub internships. This included ensuring the scheduling and evaluations were compliant with the curriculum. I also had the honor of working on a task force designed to develop components of the LSI curriculum. (Lead Serve Inspire) newly created for the College of Medicine. This allowed me to work collaboratively with a community of educators to enhance a Competency-based education design. Also, to be a part of faculty development and mentoring.

ACTIVITIES

I truly enjoy working with the homeless outreach in the community. The experience is both humbling and educational. Exposure to this population has allowed me to consider resources within the medical field that can be needed and provided through compassion and LISTENING. I am also an avid Kayaker. The silence of being on the water, totally dependent on my own ability to move forward or stay put, is rewarding.
