Research passengers, discern passengers of inadmissibility to the United States under Title 8 of the CFR of “Aliens and Nationality” in accordance with Immigration Nationality Act (INA)

HUMINT/KM/COMINT/CI to identify trends and/or travel patterns that are consistent with Transnational Organized Crime (TOC) Groups, alien smuggling networks, as well as financial and visa fraud organizations, and to forecast any future potential criminal activity.

Intelligence RCM to target potential law enforcement interest are identified through scenario and list-based targeting rules created in the Automated Targeting System-Passenger (ATS-P). Generated information from list-based rules, provide information to assess, estimate and forecast regarding evolving or emerging border security threats; recommendation of appropriate courses of action to counter those threats; and successful execution of intelligence initiatives.

Publish detailed Information Intelligence Reports (IIR) Local Intel Reports (LIR). Disseminate to pertinent agencies within IC in support of Department of Homeland Security (DHS), to maximize impact, while maintaining control of classified material and derivative classification requirements that apply to national security.

Fraud Detection National Security Immigration Officer (FDNS) – USCIS United States Citizenship Immigration Services - Arlington VA GS-13 (June 2017 to March 2020)

Safeguard the integrity of immigration laws, by leading agency efforts to combat fraud, detect national security and public safety threats, and maximize law enforcement and Intelligence Community partnerships.

Fraud Detection National Security (FDNS) division employs numerous measures to detect/deter immigration benefit fraud. Verify/confirm identity, conduct background checks, utilizing biometrics along with facial recognition techniques.

Open-Source Intelligence Analysis (OSINT), of blogs, social media, chat forums for fraud assessment of applicants and its affiliates.

Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Analysis, to track travel pattern, Home of Record (HOR), Point of Contact (POC), place of employment, identify abnormal/normal human behavior based on country of citizenship/culture/ environment/current events.
