EMPLOYMENT

26 August 2019-22 November 2021 Precision Valve Services, LLC, Carlsbad, NM 88220 Office Manager - I managed all aspects of the office, including payroll, payroll taxes, timekeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, personnel records, new hire information, insurance requirements, renewing registrations on all company vehicles, invoicing, billing, collections, drug testing and records of results, assisted in scheduling training, such as Safeland, H2s, Fit Testing, etc.., as well as kept office supplies ordered and stocked as needed. I also worked closely with the accountants to make sure they had the information needed to keep our books. Daily use of QuickBooks Online and invoicing programs such as Open Invoice, Open Ticket, Transcepta, Actian and Arriba. 20 August 2018-22 May 2019 Eddy County, Carlsbad, New Mexico Bureau of Elections-Deputy Clerk - I input new voter’s information into the system or make changes accordingly to their information already stored in our system upon the voter’s request. During any election, it was the responsibility of the Deputy Clerks to test the voting machines for accuracy prior to placing the machines in the public. As a Deputy Clerk, I also had the task of helping deliver the tabulator machines to each polling place within our County and picking them up after the election. I assisted customers at the front counter, answer telephones and assisted the other Clerk’s with recording documents, as needed. I also attended the Eddy County Commissioner’s Meetings with the County Clerk and Deputy Chief Clerk to take minutes and type them after the meeting to be approved and recorded.

9 August 2004-31 May 2018 Tabor and Byers, LLP, Carlsbad, New Mexico Paralegal - For over 9 years, I worked for one attorney in the office. For approximately the last 4 years of working at the firm, I worked for two attorneys, as well as assisted other attorneys and co-workers in the firm, as needed. I prepared pleadings, letters and other legal documents. I would schedule appointments, handle incoming calls from current clients and potential clients, order office supplies and handle advertising for the firm. Since I was the first point of contact with the clients, I would often complete the initial intake, gathering all information regarding their case and determining whether it was a case our firm could assist with. Once the client was established with our firm, I would keep their files in a neat and orderly manner. Depending on the case type, I would make indexes on health care providers or expense reports in other matters, as well as many other types of spreadsheets needed. I often would be handed a file to “take and run”, as my knowledge, expertise and relationship with our clients were well respected.
