Saw Operator/Material Handler

At ISM i was a lead saw operator/material handler. I would gather materials operating a bobcat or forklift from the material yard.

Keeping inventory of what materials were low and what we did not have for the work order. Very organized position . Operated overhead crane to dispense materials onto my cut platform. I would then measure desired length according to cut sheet and cut the material in x amount of quantity according to sheet. Took daily inventory of everything in yard and inbound and outbound materials.

Extrusion Operator

Started out as a Winderman pulling rolls of stretch film from a continuous cycling machine producing said film of different thickness,gauges, weights,lengths,color,etc.

When they were finished rolling up i would weigh them and place them on a pallet in a designated pattern per ITW Regulations. Replace the empty arbor with new cores for the next cycle etc. I became operator rapidly operating machine. Doing tests on materials such as tensile tear break and yellow yield. To ensure quality of product. Cleaned extrusion line once a shift and rebooted line in continuing production. Wrapped pallets of finished product and brought down to warehouse for warehouseman to place in designated area using sit-down and or standup forklifts. Took inventory of railcars and what resins were going in/out and into which silos to be stored for future use. Calculated all numbers on extroll machine to ensure film was melting at proper temps and rates.
