This position requires conducting preliminary and final reviews of statements of personal history and related data prior to initiation of background investigation procedures. Conduct background investigations of individuals who would occupy Public Trust positions where a determination of suitability for employment is required. Prepare reports on investigations resulting from interviews conducted during background investigations for Reciprocity cases. Conduct background investigations on all Public Trust cases. In cases of derogatory information, I write a detailed evaluation of the adverse information. When the information is insufficient to make a recommendation regarding the disposition of the case, I forward to case to a Secondary Level review/ for upper management final Prescreening decision as this is a Federal decision.
