Unit Superintendent, 8th Comm Squadron - Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea Feb 2020-Jun 2020

Advised Commander as senior enlisted manager for over 150 base cyber personnel. Managed unit personnel, evaluations, and training required for systems implementation and support.

Assigned personnel to work centers and positions based on clearances, skills, and experience levels.

Utilized computer and web-based systems for human resource management. Worked with other agencies and higher-level organizations to ensure operational needs.

Established mentoring and training requirements to meet local knowledge and certification requirements and to enhance both professional, team building, and technical skills.

Gathered data, compiled statistics, and reported information to upper leadership.

Specific accomplishments: Revamped front office administration processes resulting in eliminating all overdue performance reports. Corrected neglected manpower documentation in reporting system enabling accurate position manning for personnel. Intervened with 10 Airmen with mental health crisis. Coordinated follow-ups with helping agencies ensuring all were returned to duty and equipped for strong resiliency.

Covered two First Sergeant positions for eight months. Provided six commanders guidance and council assuring good order and discipline. Managed and guided administrative actions, suicide ideation responses, and assisted the Office of Special Investigations ensuring care was injected into the processes.

Plans & Programs Flight Chief, 22nd Communications Squadron- MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, KS 2014-2015

Directed and overseas the installations communications security (COMSEC) management office, EMSEC, information assurance team, postal office operations, and $4 million in information technology projects.

Operations Flight Chief, 22nd Communications Squadron – MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, KS 2013-2014

Directed operations of installation’s communication networks. Secured operations and enabled mission execution. Led over 70 personnel covering multiple work centers to include help desk, network infrastructure, network administration, radio and satellite communications, server management, and airfield systems. Ensured an average of over 80 daily trouble tickets and calls were addressed and or resolved. Up channeled issues that were out of the scope of technicians and those that impacted operations.

Oversaw system patching and vulnerability management assuring network security compliance, active directory management, SharePoint sites management, and incident response. Directed PII compliance sweeps and acceptable use policy enforcement. Assured personnel continued training, maintained certifications, and augmented other sections to increase skills and flexibility.

Specific accomplishments: Maintained impressive uptime rates. Earned the Wing’s 2013 Outstanding Cyberspace Systems Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year award.

Special Operations Air Refueling Superintendent, 22nd Operations Group-– MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, KS 2010-2013

Led unique special operations support unit over the course of 13 joint service exercises training more than 6,500 special operations personnel. Briefed aircrew and operators on operations, information security, and operational security.

Sourced training and funding for equipment upgrades and personnel Network+ and Night Vision Goggle trainer certifications. Ensured secure systems operational and reliable for real time missions (laptop configured/transmit and receive equipment maintained and installed).

Directed and guided operation of secure command and control and intelligence systems directly used in live missions. Established deployed support and maintained equipment supply, updates, and trained personnel.
