KERING EYEWEAR GROUP CREDIT MANAGER – ITALY

SUMMARY

I’m a Group Credit Manager and my main goal is to manage and monitor the credit risk of the company towards our customers with the final aim to reduce the risk of Receivable write-offs to a minimum. I designed and launched the Global Credit Policy and worked with IT department on the Automatic Credit Control system in SAP by creating customized tools that improve the efficiency of our performance as a team. Team player, proactive, motivator, strategic thinking oriented, I speak English, Spanish, Italian and I’m learning French. I’ve managed teams of up to five people and supervised 17 local credit managers working in the worldwide subsidiaries. After working in Italy for 12 years, I will move to South Korea.

EXPERIENCE

CREDIT MANAGER, KERING EYEWEAR GROUP (February 2017 – Present)

Design, create and launch the Global Credit Policy.

Train and supervise local credit teams of 17 subsidiaries.

Monitor the credit limits, perform credit investigations for new customers and determine a credit rating.

Developing customized tools in SAP and launch them in the subsidiaries with the aim of aligning all the company to the same procedures: ageing, dunning, automatic payment transactions, etc.

Co-operate with credit insurance, brokers, lawyers, financial information providers.

Provide reporting on the development of bad debts, open items, and DSO at customer level to senior management.

CREDIT SPECIALIST, GEOX SPA (July 2011 – January 2017)

Perform credit investigations, monitor credit limits, review credit ratings. Cash collection, chase payments through emails, phone calls, letters. Blocking/unblocking orders, booking incoming payments.
