AREAS OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT KNOWLEDGE

Financial Statement Analysis & Integrity Creating a Strategic Financial Management Vision Evaluating & Addressing Financial Exposure Instituting Cost Containment/Reduction Techniques Improving Financial Performance on an On-Going Basis Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Multi-Year Budget Management Ensuring FASB, IFRS, FED and SEC Regulatory Compliance Revenue Generation Implementation of ERP systems (SAP, ORACLE, PeopleSoft) CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Ø Reduced Multi-Million-Dollar Operational Losses and Developed a Best-In-Class Controller Function: Recruited and trained across 6 functional areas, individuals to work in the Lehman Brothers Tokyo office charged with migrating P&L system from Lotus to Excel and then to a proprietary system that reduced the number of operational losses from 30 a year to 6 a year while simultaneously reducing the financial loss from $35 million to less than $1 million. Ø Developing a Best-In-Class Offshore Migration Process: Assembled an entire new team at UBS after the prior management had previously experienced an 80% turnover rate. Over a 6-month period addressed offshore high turnover, onshore teams correcting offshore errors and technology limitations. As a result of our mitigation efforts reduced the additional 4 hours of onshore work to 30 minutes per headcount transfer, improved retention of offshore team and in the process personally earned my Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

Ø Achieving New Sustainable Revenue Growth: Developed as CFO and Head of Business Development a cash flow schedule that allowed CAE to better manage cash and eliminated the need to use a line of credit, this resulted in generating interest income of $16,000 for fiscal year 2019 versus the prior year where CAE had a $21,000 interest expense. Additionally, increased the number of Request for Proposal (RFP) to various schools and districts from 6 a year to 24 a year. As a result of the increased RFPs CAE generated an additional $200,000 in revenue and increased the number of potential new revenue opportunities. Ø Transitioning to a Modern Technology Infrastructure: Transformed CAE technology from old software/hardware to a modern technology infrastructure by developing a strategic plan to allocate 25% of the cost savings generated from various other cost saving initiatives for technology enhancements. Over 9 months, migrated to cloud ready software/hardware and migrated accounting data from QuickBooks Enterprise to QuickBooks Online, saving $14,000 per year. Upgraded WiFi to 200/400 at half the price we were paying for the 10/20 service, saving another $9,000 and dropped our current phone service for voice over internet, saving an additional $15,000. This migration afforded the company the ability to survive the COVID crisis. WHAT OTHERS SAY
