A skilled and ambitious individual with a BSC (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography degree with over 4 years clinical experience.

I am a highly self-motivated and ambitious individual working at Royal Brompton hospital which is the largest specialist heart and lung centre in Europe. I have adapted well to the many challenges of working in a fast pace London Hospital. My radiography skills have enhanced as well as my confidence in being able to deal with the day-to-day problem solving whilst ensuring the highest possible care is given to the patients.

I am at the stage where I am ready to take the next step in my career and challenage myself in a new country and environment. Whilst working at Royal Brompton hospital I have developed a sound knowledge of skills. I have gained invaluable knowledge in areas such as CT cardiac and intervention, A&E CT, X-Ray as well as mobiles and theatre work. Furthermore, I have developed my skills to adapt my technique with a range of different patients including geriatric, paediatric, bariatric and trauma patients.

I have been able to produce high quality radiographic images for a full range of patient presentations, taking into account patient limitations and adapting standard techniques where necessary. I always ensure I use good moving and handling and infection control techniques throughout each examination. I pride myself in being able to say I give excellent care to any patient that I come into contact with. I always demonstrate a professional approach in terms of demeanour, appearance and time-keeping. I am competent with the use of PACS and Cerner RIS systems. As a fast learner, I can adapt easily to new systems with minimal guidance. I strongly adhere to departmental protocols and effortlessly apply strict discipline to my work acknowledging the importance of radiation protection and the principles of IR (ME) R 2000 and ALARA.I have an up to date self-directed Continuous Professional Development (CPD) file, which I am eager to expand.
