Capable of working in high passed environment in teams and in adding additional value to the organization by utilizing my skills which include a wide breadth of knowledge in corrosion systems, Aspen HYSYS and SuperPro simulations, proficient in cooling systems, scrubbing and microwave technologies. Equipped with a good knowledge in renewable energy, reactor design and with the ability to use software packages efficiently. Committed to contributing high quality service with a focus on safety and environmental issues. EDUCATION

2017 - 2019 The University of Adelaide

Master of Engineering (Chemical Engineering)

2013 - 2017 SASTRA University, TamilNadu, India

Bachelor of Technology (Chemical Engineering)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

June 2020 – Present Anukoolan Solution Private Limited, Pune, Maharashtra, India

Key Responsibilities:

Developing, configuring and optimization of crude distillation process

Designing, documentation, running, testing, and upgrading systems and processes

Working on a research project related to crude distillation process developments involving Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Custom Modeler

Jan 2019 - Feb 2019 Zirconium Complex (ZC),

Pazhayakayal, TamilNadu, India.

Key Responsibilities:

Designed an alternative drying system for drying of Zirconium hydroxide at the Oxide production facility in order to increase production time and quality of product. Analyzed new methods of drying were and drying using microwave was suggested to the modification committee

Performed experiments on drying using a ‘domestic scale’ microwave oven. Five different quantities of wet cake were taken and heated in oven at three different RF outputs until saturation

Evaluated quantity of final moisture content, ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulphate 2

Researched drying of wet zirconium hydroxide cake using microwave oven without any addition of Sulfuric Acid during precipitation

Achievements:

Submitted a detailed technical report with extensive literature survey on Microwave drying comprising design parameters and technical information

Assisted in the removal ammonium nitrate and sulphate and brought down operational and maintenance cost by reducing a three unit operational process to a single unit

Met with potential vendors for small scale installation of dryer May 2016 - June 2016 Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC),

Hyderabad, India.

Key Responsibilities:

Kroll’s Reduction Unit

Designed a new cooling system for specific scaling up for production of 750 kilograms Zirconium Sponge to 1.5 tons

Structured a new experimental insitu cooling system by installing thermocouples and monitoring temperature inside furnace and handling of PLC controller

Assessed and studied temperature gradient within the reduction unit and PLC data were noted

Led a presentation team of interns that presented findings to engineers at Zirconium Complex (a unit of NFC) at Pazhayakayal, TamilNadu, India on 1.5 ton batch cooling system Scrubbing Unit

Designed a new scrubbing system for the HCl gas to meet exhaust standards set by the Pollution Control Board

Coordinated with interns to collect inlet and exit gas concentration of existing spray column and design of a packed column was suggested to executive committee

Met with potential clients to discuss project requirements Achievements

Met with clients expectation by designing apt packing in bed and packed column

The design along with main equipment was approved by regulatory authority

A drastic increase in production set a new record of highest production of zirconium sponge in a year May 2015 - June 2015 Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC),

Hyderabad, India.

Key Responsibilities

Devised a new cyclone separator to remove exhaust particles from preceding Heat Exchanger Unit

(HEU)

Collected data samples from exhaust of the HEU and sieve analysis was performed

Lab analysis was performed on chemical composition of collected samples

Report was submitted to the modification committee 3

MASTERS PROJECT

Feb 2018 - Nov 2018 A new 2D isorisque map of atmospheric corrosion of exposed metal structures

Key Responsibilities:

A risk assessment method Fr 13 has been used to predict pitting corrosion of the Statue of Liberty with copper being exposed to the environment

Initiation of failure due to pitting owing to stochastic implication were never considered. Fr 13 included those unwanted fluctuations in order to quantify risk

A unit operation model relating pitting of copper and parameters influencing pitting was formulated

Isorisques were devised using @Risk to represent point of constant failure. Those isorisques were used to develop a 2D contour implying rate of pitting of the Statue of liberty with height PART TIME EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Jan 2020 - Present Shop Assistant (Peregrine Corporation) OTR Hilton, 79-81 Sir Donald Bradman Dr, Hilton, SA 5033 Key Responsibilities

Responding and assisting customers in a responsible, professional, and efficient manner
