JOB RESPOSIBILITY

Desk operation of boiler and Turbine.(Cold and Hot start-up)

Practical experience in executing safe start up/ shut down of the plant in co-ordination with S/I and field officers.

Smooth and efficient operation of unit and it's auxiliaries as per SOP.

To operate the unit by operating the recommended parameter within the design value.

Hamdeling troubleshooting and emergencies like :- blackout,leakage,Tripings,critical conditions etc.

Rseponsible for all power plant operations & controlling activity through DCS.(emartion DCS systems).

Desk operation of ID Fan, Loop seal Blower, SA Fan, PA Fan, DCF.

Efficient monitoring of boiler,turbine and it's auxiliary are for routine daily basis.

Equipment changeover as per maintenance required for better durability of equipment life.

Prepration and carrying out of Hydro test as per IBR norms during annual shutdown.

Monitor for any alarm, deviation in process parameters and ensure safe and smooth operation.

Close monitoring and maintain all critical parameters.

Guide field officer for the action in the field.

Guide/Intimate utility department for utility parameter.

Co-ordination with other departments like :-QC, utility,Wtp,Chp.

Reporting to HOD during any emergency condition and hamdeling manpower.

Trouble shooting of plant equipment's.

Operation of BOP.

To maintain steam turbine auxillary in daily shift (CEP, LOP,DEARATOR,EJECTOR).

Actively involved with major overhauling of machines like Steam Turbine, Condensate Extraction Pump, Cooling Water Pump, Cooling Tower Fan, Boiler Feed Water Pump, ID Fan, FD Fan, PA Fan,Valve overhauling.
