Resume:

November **, ****

Mt. Sinai West

New York, New York

To Whom This May Concern:

My name is Anthony Liccardi and I recently graduated from Fordham University. I’ve earned a degree in biology with interests in biochemistry, biomedical engineering, and academic surgery. My well rounded education offered classes in statistics and philosophy as well, which prove to be helpful in research and interpersonal skills. My goal is to apply to medical school within the next two years. I am applying to the “Associate Researcher, Part Time (FTE .6)” position, and I am certain that I am an amazing candidate for the position. My adept abilities in research, collaboration in the creation of new methods, and carrying out scientific experiments at the University of Pennsylvania have been developed, honed, and prepare me to work in an environment like yours. At Penn, my contribution to the projects in the Atluri Lab exposed me to the use of innovative medical devices and development of new theories. I do believe that this position at Mt. Sinai is ideal for me because I have extensively studied under the guidance of surgical residents and Dr. Pavan Atluri at Penn and I have the experience needed to contribute to the current projects. I am uniquely interested in contributing to the further advancement of science at Mt. Sinai, and I have strong interests in many realms of scientific research at this time.

My ability to translate the skills I’ve learned during my undergraduate years at Penn and Fordham will allow for me to thrive at Mt. Sinai. I have vast experience in using animal models within a surgical setting. Additionally, I am excellent at developing and maintaining relationships and I possess the ability to work closely with management teams, industry contacts, and institutional investors. I am very hardworking, motivated, ambitious, and have proven to be a team player in all of my internships throughout my undergraduate years. I would be grateful to meet members of your team to determine if I am a match for your team and if Mt. Sinai is a match for my career goals.

Sincerely yours, Anthony Robert Liccardi
