I am an industry veteran with 20 years of experience architecting sophisticated software platforms and leading teams of developers through every step of the SDLC. I embrace a collaborative leadership methodology to create solutions and best practices that can be leveraged and replicated across the enterprise. I am highly self motivated, and constantly look for opportunities to automate, innovate, and streamline processes. As chief architect, I provide technical expertise and direction for the development of complex projects, and lead the research, analysis, and solution design for various initiatives. As chief architect, my responsibilities include establishing and leading an enterprise wide initiative to establish best practices and guidelines for software architecture and system design, across a federation of business units, product lines, and development teams. One of my primary responsibilities is to work closely with our architects, lead developers, and product owners to produce strategic plans and tactical initiatives to address modernization, automation, performance monitoring, CI/CD best practices, software reliability, and security. Republic Property Group » Builder Portal » Principal Software Consultant Jun 2016 - July 2018 I managed the planning and development of a propriety builder portal platform, which allows property developers and custom home builders to streamline the process of managing the construction and sale of lots, from the initial allocation/sale of each empty lot to a given builder to the design of floor plans, elevations, specs, and ultimately the sale to home buyer. Notable features include an interactive and highly customizable map of the project, and a React based UI allowing for homes to be completely customized by a potential buyer via an interactive wizard.
