Title: Biogas Production from Kitchen Waste (Major Project) Period: Jul'19 - Apr'20
Abstract: Biogas technology provides an alternate source of conventional energy source. Kitchen wastes were used as an input to produce biogas due to its high organic degradation, calorific value and nutritional value for the microbes. Biogas is a potential renewable energy source for both domestic and commercial usage. In this context, this work intends to purification, compression, bottling and optimization of biogas production in microbiology department at Sant Gadage Baba Amaravati University, Amaravati.
