Family Care Chiropractic

As Office Manager I took daily responsibility for the clinical and administrative operations of the office. I took all inbound patient calls which includes scheduling, canceling and inquires. Greeting and accounting for every patient that walked into the office. Taking patients chief complaint and verbalizing their needs with Dr. Lansing. Obtaining medical records if necessary. Developed x-rays and assisted in therapies as directed by the physician. I would validate the patients insurance and go over the patient’s policy and requirements for the office. If a patient was a personal injury patient I would contact their insurance or attorney regarding accepted treatment and payment.

Cox’s Smokers Outlet

Daily responsibilities included but not limited to: inputting daily inventory for the store, I was responsible for the appearance and set up of displays, Accountable for all transactions that occurred during my shift, responsible for overseeing employees.

Dr. Gregory Potts

I worked with Dr. Potts as his personal medical assistant in a very fast paced office. I opened the office each morning, ran quality controls, restocked and cleaned rooms, scanned documents in the E.M.R. set up procedure trays, conducted in house ordered labs, injections and EKG’s.

The Little Clinic

Daily work duties included, opening the clinic, setting up computers for E.M.R. use, conducting QC on all needed lab equipment. Collected co-pays at time of visit, assisted the A.R.N.P with any procedures. Maintained quality controls for joint commission reviews.

I was the first medical assistance hired at the little clinic, and did off site marketing to promote the company in the community at large.
