Sir or Madam,

Please accept this cover letter and resume as proof of application for employment within your company. My name is Erik Legault. I am starting College Boreal in September 2018 in the Heavy Equipment Technician Program.

During my 4 yeas at Ecole Secondaire Macdonald Cartier, I have excelled in the automotive mechanics programs they offer. I have also completed a Co-Op placement at Jackson’s automotive in Spring 2017. My duties were varied while my knowledge and skills continue to be developed. I completed tasks such as: oil changes, tire changes and rotations, brake cleaning, visual vehicle inspections (interior and exterior inspections), general maintenance and cleaning of the shop and its equipment. I completed a total of 6 automotive mechanics courses. I always show enthusiasm, hard work, diligence and initiative. I have a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills. I use all my knowledge and skills when working on a project to ensure I meet all deadlines.

I am eager to continue to expand on my knowledge and skills. I am a hard worker, dedicated to the trade. I was granted early acceptance into the program at College Boreal. I would be an asset to any shop or establishment that would grant me an opportunity to work with fellow tradesmen.

I can be reached at the above contact numbers for an interview. I am available anytime for an interview.I would welcome part time employment as well as summer employment (part and full time).

Sincerely,

Erik Legault

Erik Legault.
