-Responsibilities include but not limited to: clinical on-boarding and patient care orientation as well as the on-going training for all Intensive Care, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Emergency Department, Cardiovascular Outpatient, Outpatient Infusion, Outpatient Oncology and Cardiac Cath Lab department staff members. The objectives are developed based on the quality indicators from agencies such as National Patient Safety Goals, CMS- Medicare and Medicaid, NDNQI, to apply evidenced-based data to achieve optimal patient care with quality outcomes.

Manager Cardiac Cath Lab and Cardiovascular Outpatient Unit, Baptist Health Richmond -January 2012 – March 2015 Richmond, KY

-Responsibilities include management of the cardiac Cath lab and cardiovascular outpatient units. Managing 10 RN’s and 4 RRT(R)’s – scheduling coverage with on-call and staggering schedule module to maintain two teams for 24hours/7 days per week operational hours for scheduled procedures and on-call coverage to manage all cardiovascular emergent, elective and scheduled procedures.

-Managed room availability and scheduling of procedures for three individual cardiology practice groups.

-Conducted 90 day, bi-annual and annual performance review appraisals.

-Served as a circulation nurse as well as the procedural monitoring and documentation role when needed to complete the three person procedure team.

-Responsible for data abstraction and submission of data to the NCDR and SCAI National Database Registries.
