·Excellent marketing experience that I feel comes in handy with multiple different positions because of the unique lessons I have gained by getting involved in a job like marketing. This gave me the opportunity to really expand my learning on how people think in the business side of the world. I also gained more experience using Excel during the time as a marketing representative. Marketing Reps are responsible for spreading the excitement and passion for Insomnia Cookies all around their local communities and colleges. It is their job to seek out fun and relatable partnerships for Insomnia Cookies to contribute to on campus. That means building relationships with student organizations and planning engaging events.

·As for the Recruiting role that I did my internship in there was an accumulation of lots of skills that I acquired while doing my time with Aerotek. Some of the responsibilities that I was granted the opportunity to fulfill included developing recruiting strategies to correctly identify qualified candidates for our clients that we were hiring for. There were many different jobs that we hired for but some of the main industries were Accounting & Finance, Engineering, but also Industrial and Skilled trade. As this was a college internship, I also was able to gain some very valuable lessons on the project manager side as my project manager and I were very close I got to gain a lot of knowledge about gaining and keeping clients.

·Along with the skills that I have already discussed I was also asked to evaluate candidates’ strengths compared with clients’ requirements by, for example, evaluating, screening, and interviewing the candidate. There were also times that I was asked to negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements. Manage contract employees while on assignment. Assess and investigate contractor related problems, and administer performance counseling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary. Maintain relationships with industry contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, and get referrals and sales leads.
