Set up delivery and pick up of rental equipment needed to perform elevated inspection activities. Review JHAs and rental equipment daily inspections. Report any mechanical integrity or safety issues to client representative that needed immediate attention as specified in either client specifications or company procedures. Coordination with Project manager of Low RE project in the HF Alky Unit, oversite of 2 Profile RT crews, perform walk downs of acid containing circuits, identifying weld locations and submitting modified isometric drawings with weld locations and as observed asset configuration in blue beam format. Also provided experienced based advice to NDE crews and planner as to most efficient and cost-effective manner to obtain data. Review and verify profile RTs meet procedure specification. Recommended additional locations or rework of nonconforming PRT images based on data provided and predetermined job scope. Perform API visual inspections upon request from operations when issues presented themselves and made recommendations for NDE to provide data for review by Marathon Inspections Department first thing in the morning. When lighting permitted also perform visual external API 510/570 inspections to help Operate and Maintain project stay up to date on upcoming inspections.

Performed CUI focused Visual External API-510,570 in-service inspections. Identify suspect locations utilizing customer specifications. Verify moisture content of insulation by utilizing FLIR moisture probe after performing Thermography on suspect locations that could not be accessed due to insulation jacketing, in an effort to provide ETC with data to make a determination to the extent of initial follow-up inspection needed to further asses the condition of asset surfaces in relation to corrosion under insulation.
