PROJECTS:
Designed and built analog controller for DC motor speed control. Determined transfer function amplitude and phase of motor system. Built controller from opamp circuits. Designed and implemented digital controller for DVD drive. Used Labview to produce controller which met step response requirements.
Used Siemens S7 PLC (TIA Portal) to control conveyor, implemented measurement steps, diversion to reject or accept bins.
Used Allen-Bradley PLC to implement PID (proportional-integral-derivative) controller in lab exercise.
Set up HMI using Allen-Bradley ladder logic to control automatic storage and retrieval system. Wrote Motion Control logic for rotary knife cam profile controlled by Siemens PLC. Wrote Motion Control using Allen-Bradley ControlLogix (Studio 5000) for x-y gantry including safety relay, and for Deltabot motion.
Class final project to design state variable controller for aircraft attitude and simulate result in Matlab.
