Managed the purchasing of all Aluminum and Magnesium die castings, including pistons, engine covers, and various other components totaling over 15 million parts.

Managed sourcing for piston rings, MIM (Metal Injection Molding), and PM (Powder Metal) engine components including crankshaft counterweights, connecting rods, sprockets, gears, cam followers and other components totaling over 20 million parts.

Devised a strategy to generate over $2 million in cost reductions, 2.7 times goal of $750k, by the end of 2014.

Created a competitive sourcing strategy for Aluminum die-castings by identifying and qualifying additional suppliers, reducing overall costs by 13%.

Shifted a significant amount of volume from piston ring suppliers in Europe to China, generating savings over 25%.

Generated a 35% savings in production costs by changing processes and eliminating secondary machining expenses.

Reduced purchasing cost by 40% and generated annual savings over $750k by eliminating an anodizing coating on two components.
