Showroom Manager 10/2017 – 05/2020

Responsible for a showroom that is ranked among the top ten volume per square footage stores at Polaris Fashion Place Mall. Upon opening our redesigned showroom, I was responsible for the recruitment of the ASM and 6 part time associates. In this position I was responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new associates the Designed For Life Selling Philosophy. As a selling manager, I coached the staff in building relationships with clients to gain their trust, build added value and overcome objections. In addition, I performed extensive prospecting and follow up through CRM using multiple platforms. I also performed employee evaluations and coached to each associate’s KPIs. I was the market recruiter for Showroom Managers and Assistant Managers. In 2018 our store enjoyed a 24% increase to comp (nearly $2 million, a new store record) as well as an increase in our conversion rate and the average ticket price. Due to our success at the Polaris location, Lovesac opened a second Columbus location in August of 2018 and a third location in February 2020.

General Manager 09/2016 - 10/2017

Responsible for the company’s #9 volume location (nearly $3 million) and a staff of 8-9 associates. This location is a 10,000 sq. ft. space with 23,000 sku’s. Using our company best practices we increased our conversion rate, dollars per transaction, sales per hour and capture rate. Our location exceeded company expectations in the above mentioned metrics as well as units per transaction, payroll, shrinkage and alterations. I was also responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training and developing. In addition to loss prevention, audits, financial reporting, workplace safety, communications, scheduling, policies and procedures. I am knowledgeable with floor sets, merchandising, inventory control and processing. I was also the market Captain of fundraising for St. Jude’s Children's Hospital. In 2017, I was recognized at the Annual Manager’s Conference as the company’s second most profitable location.
