Current job operations include the following:

Opens and closes store including computer system start ups, required cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stockroom are ready for the business day. Holds key access for various securities and locker necessities. Responsible for opening appropriate entry ways for deliveries and checking in all vendors. Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provides change as requested to registers. Models and delivers a delightful customer experience.

Engages customers with courtesy, identifying needs and problem solving. Coaches team members on all policies and procedures. Responsible and accountable for all registers and opening/ end of day cash duties. Responsible for handling cash pickups/ change orders with Respond services and book-keeping activities including cash report, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payments. Maintains a clean, neat and orderly store with inventory control including keeping correct counts with on -hand stock in all departments. Maintains a respectful relationship with all employees and co-workers. Recognizes loss prevention along with store shrinkage and checks employee bags before leaving the store. Keeps a keen knowledge of all workplace policies and procedures and ensures compliance with state and local laws.

Achievements include obtaining certification to learn and become proficient as a pharmacy technician from 2017 to 2018. Furthermore, in 2018 I had been given the opportunity to manage and look over the stores liquor department for six months before being promoted to current position as a shift leader/supervisor, from May 2018 to current. I have worked within the Walgreens company since June of 2017.

I also have other previous retail and customer service experience which totals 12 years. I currently seek the opportunity to grow within retail service as a Cellular Representative. I am enthusiastic and quick to learn about new and exciting platforms of growth and self development. I’m open and willing to work alongside new colleagues and making great friendly connections along the way.
