Work History:

April 2018 - August 2018 - Eden Hospice Carson City, Registered Nurse Case Manager for Palliative Care, pain management for the end of life patients. Coordinated care with Medical Social Worker, Chaplin, Medical Director, and supervision of the Certified Nursing Assistant for the end of life patient support of the family. Transferred from Eden Home Health to Hospice.

January 2017 - April 2018 - Eden Home Health Carson City, Registered Nurse Case Manager for the care of patients in their home. Duties included but not limited to: wound care, TPN and IV therapies. Provided education for the patient with medication, disease processes and the action to take when side effects or complications arise. April 2016 - January 2017 - South Lyon Medical Center, Yerington. Nursing Supervisor for 3 clinics with a total of 30 employees. Responsible for day to day operation, hiring, and ensuring compliance with State Regulation. September 2016 promoted to Director of Nursing areas of responsibility were: Emergency Room, Acute Care and Long Term Care Units.

Registered Nurse Case Manager for the Palliative Care for end of life patients along with Medical Social Workers, Chaplin, Medical Director, and Certified Nursing Assistants. February 2013 - February 2015 - Gentiva Home Health, Carson City. Registered Nurse Case Manager providing therapies and education for patients in their home. February 2010 - February 2013 - Dialysis Center, Inc.,Carson City. Registered Nurse providing dialysis for patients with end stage renal diseases. May 2010 promoted to Charge Nurse responsible for operations and medication for patients while on dialysis. Intake evaluation of new patients and providing data for the CQI meeting. May 2011 promoted to Nurse Manager responsible for financial budget, hiring, education of staff, providing data for Medical Director for the CQI meetings. Emergency room Nurse at an Los Angeles County Facility. Obtained a Trauma Care Nurse, ACLS, and PALS certification, and became a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse, participating in air transport of patients. On a management level participated in building a home health agency and integrating this agency into a hospital areana.
