RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviewing and Conformance of Technical Information corresponding with Specifications and Shop drawings (SHD) checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations
Ensuring that all materials used and work perform as per specifications
Overseeing the selection, requisition of materials, agreeing a price for materials and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the Intended project
Managing, monitoring, and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the Client or Design Disciplines
Site Coordination with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce
Coordination with the local authority / Municipality / Civil Defense (where appropriate to the project i.e., BMS, HVAC Packages) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws
Day-to-day management of the site including supervision and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site
Material inspection as per approved material submittal
Work Follow up as per approved progress and Daily progress report monitoring
Approval of Mechanical Shop Drawings, MEP- Coordination Drawings, Work Method statements as per Project Specifications
Ensuring that all Mechanical Equipment’s and accessories approved by Inspection department prior to installation
Coordinating with other disciplines and ensure site clearance is available to start the MEP System Activities
Notifying to QC Personal for surveillance to ensure the quality work prior to start of MEP activities
Maintaining safe Construction MEP activities are carried out in accordance with the Company’s safety policies and procedures
Closely monitoring site activities for quality of work as per approved shop drawing and Specification
Preparing Approved support documents list for inspection required as per raised inspection requests to Conduct Testing and inspection.
Attending weekly meetings with the Project management & QC Supervisors, Planning, Design, Procurement teams and Project manager to resolve the site related issues.
Assisting and Attending functional tests of Systems with Commissioning Team in Pre-commissioning & Commissioning stages of all Mechanical installations and Equipment’s.
Preparation of final Test Reports, as built drawings, Operation & Maintenance manual and handing over the project to client
