Created the initial vision for the platform and am responsible for creating and maintaining detailed feature roadmaps, and product and sprint backlogs. Providing monthly updates to senior business and technical executives on the status of platform build and upcoming activities and making them aware of any blockers. I actively develop python and angular code and maintain PostgreSQL database.

Lead Specialty Senior Software Engineer- Wells Fargo, North Brunswick, New Jersey: Dec 2021 – Oct 2023

Currently working on building an investment data warehouse and REST APIs to integrate Arcesium IBOR platform running on AWS for Wells Fargo Swaps business. Developing Java and Python APIs and event driven processes to send Security, Swaps, Accounts, Corporate Actions, Prices, and other relevant data from Wells Fargo to Arcesium (AWS) and receiving accounting data back and persisting it into the investment data warehouse. Prior to this, Led the migration of several Prime Brokerage business applications to cloud (Pivotal Cloud Foundry). I also mentor other groups on how to migrate their applications to cloud by sharing experiences and engineering solutions of difficult use cases. Received award from the head of Strategic Architecture and Technology for running cloud cohorts for Azure Certification.

Major Contributions: On target to complete integration with Arcesium to deliver a sophisticated swaps platform. Migrated applications to cloud freeing up physical infrastructure saving over 400k of expenses every year on infrastructure maintenance.

Technology Director, Global Risk Solutions - BNY Mellon – Jersey City, New Jersey: June 2016 – Dec 2021

Architecture, design, and development of a platform for delivering sophisticated Investment Analysis capability for Asset Managers and Asset Owners that included quantitative risk metrics and analytics. Designed and developed Angular based dashboard and Java and Python based Microservices to deliver more than 35 investment related analytics such as performance, exposure, attribution, liability-based analysis, esg analytics and many more. Also built a PoC for a data warehouse with Snowflake on Azure and have integrated BI Tools including Tableau and Power BI to deliver powerful and flexible analytics in a multi-tenant architecture with Microservices for APIs. The same data platform is also used by the BNYMs legacy client portal.

Major Contributions: Launched several new digital products including ESG Analytics, Macro Attribution, Performance Heatmap, and Risk Statistics (among others) that are extensively used by over 1000 clients in the Asset Owner segment. Also developed Middle Office Post Trade processing system as part of OnCore that provided the glue between several Asset Servicing systems including FIServ TradeFlow, MiSys Summit, IBM Algo, Tri-Optima Reconciliation, Trade Lifecycle Management, Corporate Actions Management as well as Eagle Investment Accounting system.

Was part of the account team for J P Morgan Chase with responsibilities for Mphasis project deliveries across all business lines. Was also responsible for generating new accounts and business.

Major Contributions: Organized and presented in several workshops and webinars at client locations on emerging technology topics such as Blockchain, Apache Storm, Apache Kafka, Semantic Web, and Enterprise Data Management.
