Devised a stop on the cell conveyor in the Adept cell packaging robot to allow sideways cells to pass by the pick-up head eliminating approximately 75% of the stoppages.
Devised and fabricated a tool to replace broken die springs in the die sets without disassembly. Reduced broken spring replacement time from 45 minutes to 5 minutes.
Devised and built circuitry for a non-contact, permanent digital tachometer on a cell conveyor where speed was critical to label alignment.
