Perform checks on engine blocks ensuring that that machine cut the blocks right without any containments using go no gos, plug thread gauges, calipers, micrometers, air plug gauges. Making sure every engine head meets all requirements before sending it down to the next operation staton. Perform SPC checks every 15 heads, or after changing a tool in the machine after they expire/ time out or break. I kept proper documents of every tool change and check. Proficient on SIMENS and MAGG machines diagnosing and attacking any issues with the machine that may arise. In pre assembly I installed valve seats for exhaust and intake, o-rings, seals, washers, and valve keys while, inspecting head is clear of any rust or debris. Light repair duties included lapping heads on MRB for failed leak test, repairs were made using a drill, liquid sandpaper, oil, flash light. I grinned the seats down until the blemish was removed and retested the head.
