2020-2024-Healing Winds Program Manager

Maintained 3 Federal Grants and 7 State Grants, Knowledgeable in applying for grants and maintaining the developed Standard of Operations for the program needs and client needs.

Supervision of 2 advocates and 1 Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Coordinator

Maintained training schedule and certifications needed to keep these positions. Oversaw community events for the prevention of Domestic violence and Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking in our Community.

2015-2020 Healing Winds Advocate and Case Manager

Worked with clients, community partners, assisted with crisis intervention safety plans and protection orders, emergency services and transportation, making referrals and warm handoffs to other programs and agencies for services that may not be available for this particular program.

Led Traditional Culture Groups to gather prepare and use traditional foods weaving materials and medicines to connect the women back to their culture which is part of their healing process.

Assisted in the renovation of KCTC’s 27 bed Residential Center as the Kitchen Coordinator, where I supervised 3 people and 27 clients in the kitchen of the Klamath Community Treatment Center.

Advanced to the Secretary/Receptionist position for 3 years and then began my journey as a Counselor as a Counselor in Training and at the end of my Alcohol and Drug Counseling career I was the Intake Coordinator with a CDC III Certification and a CADC II Certification from the state. My specialty was working with youth and women.

EDUCATION 1979- Klamath Union High School -GED

I have received most of my professional schooling and credentials through attending trainings through my work positions.

The Alcohol and Drug Certifications and the Advocate and Sexual Assault Certification are equal to a Bachelor Degree.
