PCL Construction Services – Senior Project Manager: January 2015 - October 2017 Overall management of the Phase 1 pre-construction of an optimized outbound baggage handling system at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, advancing the Port’s Century Agenda strategy of doubling the number of passengers over a 25-year period. The system replaced the aging conveyor system to allow the airport to sustain passenger volume and meet future growth by processing over 66 million passengers and 60 million checked bags per year. Responsible for the direct management of the BHS design coordination, contractor qualification, bid process, selection, and oversight of the BHS and CBIS installation.

Turner Construction Company – Pre-Construction Manager: November 2013 - January 2015 Overall management of the Phase 1 pre-construction for the Port of Portland Terminal Core Redevelopment Program. The Terminal Core Redevelopment Program modernized the heart of PDX, spanning of over 1 million square feet of refurbishments and upgrades to ensure sufficient capacity for future passenger demand, upgrading seismic resiliency, and enhancing passenger circulation throughout the terminal. Responsible for the direct management of the BHS design coordination, contractor qualification, bid process, selection, and oversight of the BHS and CBIS installation coordination and planning.

Turner Construction Company - Project Manager / Construction Manager: June 2012 - November 2013 Overall management of Amazon’s Block 45 Project, a 13-story, 317,000 square foot office building with four levels of below grade parking. Part of Amazon’s headquarter expansion at the Amazon campus in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood.

Turner Construction Company – Pre- Construction Manager: December 2009 - June 2012 Overall management of Terminal pre-construction for the San Diego International Airport “Green Build” Project. The Terminal portion of the project was a 10-gate, three-level, 460,000 square-foot expansion to an existing nine-gate airport terminal. The airside portion consists of more than 1.3 million square feet of airside apron paving and additions and upgrades to the existing central utility plant. The cost of the project was reduced by 10 percent from the original estimate due to collaborative value engineering that began in the concept validation phase and continued through completion. The fast-track design-build approach allowed construction to start long before the terminal design effort was completed. Modern design and construction advancements resulted in a LEED Platinum certification from the USGBC, exceeding the LEED Silver certification targeted for the project. Responsible for the direct management of the BHS design coordination, contractor qualification, bid process, selection, and oversight of the BHS and CBIS coordination and planning.

Turner Construction Company - Project Manager / Construction Manager: December 2004 - April 2009 Overall management of preconstruction and construction of the Sea-Tac International Airport C-1 Baggage Screening modernization program. A multi-phase, five-year project that involved concourse renovation, new construction, and baggage systems integration for 10 airlines. Temporary systems were put in place to maintain airport operations, delivering the project on time with minimal disruption to airport and airline operations. This project overlapped with the previous Alaska Airlines “two-Step” project. Responsible for the BHS design coordination, contractor qualification, bid process, selection, and direct management and oversight of the BHS and CBIS installation.

Turner Construction Company - Project Manager / Construction Manager: June 2002 - December 2005 Overall management of the Alaska Airlines “Two Step” Ticket Counter Reconfiguration Project. In conjunction with the C-1 Project, completely reconfigured Alaska Airlines existing ticketing area and baggage-handling system while maintaining uninterrupted operations throughout construction, along with renovation and reconfiguration of secure administrative office areas. Project required close coordination with Alaska Airlines, the Port of Seattle, and other construction activities taking place in the same proximity, requiring detailed phasing plans that addressed numerous complexities of maintaining the operational ticketing process and security protocols, while integrating into and maintaining a fully operational baggage-handling system.

Lloyd Electric – Construction Manager (Contractor): September 2001 - June 2002 Overall management of the procurement and execution of electrical and controls contracts for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for all electrical construction activities necessary to meet the U.S. Department of Homeland Security mandated 100% baggage screening requirement at the SeaTac International Airport. This fast pace (one year) deliverable mandate required intense daily collaboration and coordination with federal agencies, design firms, airport authorities, airline operations, stake holders, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and consultants to establish contract scope definitions and deliverables. Aside from the obvious coordination and logistical challenges associated with the pre-construction contract procurement period, there existed uncompromising performance requirements that had to be stringently met within pre-specified timelines, measuring progress through detailed daily reporting, and real-time budget and schedule management of the BHS and CBIS installation.
